Actor and Oscar winner Brad Pitt recently signed two contracts that were comparable. According to Mansion Global, he quietly sold his two-acre estate in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles for $33 mιllιon.
And he reportedly just paid $5.5 mιllιon for a stylish 1960s midcentury modern home.
Pitt has purchased and sold properties in Goleta, Malibu, and Beverly Hills, among other communities in Southern California. Last year, he paid $40 mιllιonfor an ancient beachfront estate in Carmel, as reported by the Wall Street Journal. Moreover, he possesses a winery in France for no less than $60 mιllιon.
Regarding his most recent purchase, the glass and steel house with three bedrooms and three bathrooms is small by celebrity standards (the interior is just over 2,000 square feet), but it exudes a certain sexual coolness—much like Pitt himself. Look at this!
Pitt’s purchase of this clean, modern apartment, brimming with windows and leafy-green views, is another example of his architectural sense.
It is known as the “Steel House” and was built by renowned architect Neil Johnson in the affluent Los Feliz area of Los Angeles.
Mark Haddawy, who is renowned for his ability to revitalize architectural gems, gave the home a revamp. The result of his labor is a bright, airy showcase with glass walls in each room and a powder-blue color scheme in the kitchen and primary bathroom.
The primary bathroom features a stone shower and tub in addition to terrazzo floors and sliding doors.
A magnificent backyard garden surrounds the patio, pool, sauna, and cold-plunge tub, which appear to have been constructed from an ancient barrel.
