The Zimbabwean telecoms entrepreneur Strive Masiyiwa paid $24.5 milli0n for two penthouse condominiums in the Eldorado tower. The Real Deal reported that the upper two floors of the adjacent units in the 29-story tower at 300 Central Park contain five bedrooms. John and Valerie Rowe sold the property.

Econet Wireless Group, a pan-African telecom business with successful operations in Zimbabwe, Botswana, Lesotho, and Burundi as well as investments in telecom firms in New Zealand and the US, was created by Strive Masiyiwa, 56.
