Jennifer Lopez is now asking $39.995M for her Los Angeles mansion after lowering the price by over $2.5M.

The Wall Street Journal said that the Bel Air property, which is only a short distance from the Bel Air hotel, was initially advertised in February for $42.5 million. It has been reduced 80 days after the initial listing.

According to the listing with Brett Lawyer of Carolwood Estates, the estate has an 8-acre block of land, a 12,800 square foot main house, a guest cottage, a pool, a putting green, and a 100 seat amphitheater.

Records show that the actress and singer, who changed her name to Jennifer Lynn Affleck after getting married to Ben Affleck last year, paid $28 million for the estate in 2016 using a trust.

The main home, which was created in 1940 by architect Samuel Marx, incorporates raw materials like stone and wood. According to the description, the home has nine bedrooms, a large family room, a formal dining room, a living room with high ceilings, a bar, and a fireplace. All of these spaces connect to expansive stone terraces.

In addition, the house has a 30-seat home theater where movie posters from movies where Ms. Lopez and Mr. Affleck have appeared are displayed. These movies include Mr. Affleck’s “Hollywoodland” and Ms. Lopez’s “Monster-in-Law,” which can be seen in the listing images.

Ms. Lopez, a multi-talented celebrity best known for her smash hits “On the Floor,” “Let’s Get Loud,” and “Jenny from the Block,” is now making two films: the action drama “The Mother” and the sci-fi thriller “Atlas,” both of which will be available on Netflix later this year.

Ms. Lopez’s representative declined to comment, and listing agent Mr. Lawyer did not right away answer a request for comment.
