What is the price of privacy? A property in a gated community and on a privately owned cul-de-sac is presently up for sale in Miami’s affluent Coral Gables neighborhood for $69.9 million.
Along with having connections to several well-known pop music legends, Alarcón has hosted visits from Shakira, Marc Anthony, Romeo Santos, and Emilio Estefan.
But, according to Delgado, exclusivity is the best selling point. The property is set on a peninsula lot with water on three sides, as if living in Coral Gables wasn’t already secluded enough.
This month’s Wall Street Journal featured an article about the 9401 Journey’s End Road property, which is owned by radio industry tycoon Ral Alarcón and is represented by Saddy Abaunza Delgado and Valeria Kelly with ONE Sotheby’s International Realty.
The house may not have sold for a Miami sales record, but it is currently one of the priciest listings in Coral Gables. If it sells for the asking price, it would set a record for the area.
The 11,800 square foot waterfront Tuscan villa-style house has seven or eight bedrooms and is situated on a 2-acre lot with roughly 500 feet of canal frontage that connects to Biscayne Bay.
