Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts did what any professional athlete would have done after winning the World Series in 2020: he purchased a new home. The MLB star has relisted the same Los Angeles mansion for sale, but this time it includes custom features.

The nine-time All-Star’s 9,415 square foot property in Encino is listed for a whopping $9.9 mιllιon . For reference, Betts paid UCLA coach Chip Kelly an initial $7.6 mιllιon for the spread. Despite being very recently built in 2018, the property has undergone a lot of expensive upgrades. The most notable constructions made by Betts include a gym and a light-blue indoor basketball court bearing the letters “MB.”

On the property is a detached, two-story guesthouse with two bedrooms, a complete kitchen, and a living room. In addition to a cabana, an outdoor kitchen, a recessed fire pit, and a zero-edge pool, the half-acre complex features a cabana. Obviously, you will have the putting green to yourself if you would rather practice your golf stroke.

The estate’s centerpiece, the main residence, boasts a stunning nine bedrooms and ten bathrooms. The interior has soaring high ceilings and oak flooring. The double-height entryway has a stunning, curved stairway with a skylight above. The chef’s kitchen is nearby and has been equipped with the best appliances, a large walk-in pantry, and sparkling quartz countertops. Additionally, the living room features a fireplace.

For entertainment, you can choose between watching movies in the home theater or having a sauna steam bath. Obviously, the master suite is a lovely retreat from the rest of the property. The accommodations include two enormous walk-in closets, two spa-like en suite baths, a sitting area with a fireplace and its own television, and a private balcony. Betts’ plans for the future are uncertain, but his 10-year, $365 mιllιon contract with the Dodgers will keep him in the Los Angeles area.
